No option to check the 3G data usage in Idea 3G postpaid plan

Name of company/service: MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA

I have opted for the Idea 3G plan in my postpaid number. I want to know how much free data is consumed and how much is balance. After repeat inquiries with cust. care i understand that this information can not be shared in any way till the bill is generated.
So here i can not know when i have consumed free usage started encurring extraaaa bill and how much.
This will be told to me only in bill generated at the end of the month.
Please help me to resolve this. Idea cellular is not helping in this.

    Hi, the same issue even I have, I have a full mail exchange with customer care. They say that i should be getting SMS on my data usage which i used to get, but for past 2 months i do not get the same. No Idea what I will be doing if some uncalled for situation is created when i get my bill, which right now says some Rs 4500 , where as my actual bill never exceeds Rs 400.

    Same concern for me. I don’t how much free usage are consumed and how much are remaining.
