Mobile Number not registered for “DEBIT CARD”,not able to receve OTP and hence not able to create 3D secure password for my “DEBIT CARD”

My mobile number is registered for my account to do online transactions.I do get sms when I withdraw money from ATM.I do get OTP in my mobile when I do online transactions using INTERNET BANKING.
But when I try to create 3D secure password for my “DEBIT Card” in the website acs.onlinesbi.com/sbi/enrollment/enroll_welcome.jsp
it shows “MOBILE NUMBER IS NOT REGISTERED FOR YOUR CARD.KINDLY CONTACT YOUR HOME BRANCH”. So I went to my home branch SBI bank and told them my complaint.They gave a form to fill in my details and I submitted it so that I can receive OTP.But even now when I try to create 3D secure password,it tells me mobile number is not registered.
Then later I dialled the toll free number present in the back side of my debit card and told them my grievance.They told me that they have registered a complain with Ticket number OP224215618664 .But when I checked the status of my complaint it showed me they have booked a complaint in INTERNET BANKING section.My complaint was not receipt of OTP for Debit Card,but they filed the complaint for Internet Banking.I don’t know what they are doing. I want to do payments using my Debit card. So please see to it and help me.

The reason behind getting error message “Mobile number is not registered for your card.kindly contact your home branch ” while registering your sbi debit card on verified by visa site is as follow: when your opening your bank account with bank sbi employees are issuing bank passbook and sbi debit card. while opening your account they are just entering your entire details but not entering your debit card details they are just linking your sbi debit card with your bank account that’s why whenever you use your card at ATM you are Receiving sms for transaction but when same thing you transact online your getting error message saying your mobile number is not registered. solution : visit your home branch ask them to show your sbi debit card details you will see no name,mobile number and address in your sbi debit card details. just tell them to update your details or apply for new ATM cum sbi debit card… that is how problem is to be solved i hope this information is useful for you all …..dinesh kumar

    i am also facing the same problem but finaly got a solution today

    kindly type SWAN ECOM **** send it on 09223966666

    ****represent your atm card last 4 digit
    eg let say your atm card number 1111-2222-3333-4567 then type

    “SWAN ECOM 4567”

    You ll recieve a msg from sbi your atm number regitered.

    **if you didnt get any reply kindly send the msg again**

  13. i got the message , “Dear Customer,Your request for Switching On ECOM service for card No:XXXX is processed successfully! Reference No: xxxxx”
    i’ve got a reference no. but i still not getting the mobile no. registered.

    where **** represents the last four digits of your atm number

  15. MESSAGE (IN CAPITAL LETTERS)-
    SWON ECOM ****(here you will type the last four digits of your card no.)
    and send it to – 9223966666

    In a second you will receive a reply – YOUR REQUEST FOR ECOM IS PROCESSED SUCCESSFULLY.
    There is no waiting period for registration.

  16. I followed above process & got reply that “YOUR REQUEST FOR ECOM IS PROCESSED SUCCESSFULLY” same as Peyonk.

    How many time take for resume of service??

    Sir, my debit card is not rajester with online payment so my online payment is not confirmed with debit card but my phone number is rajester in my account therefore I am going in my home branch but i am not understand and i am contact with sbbj costumer care so i am not understand so please help me please.

    For those still confused pls type
    SWON ECOM **** and send it to 9223966666
    **** represents last four digits of your debit card.
    And people still having problem after this u need to visit branch or i suggest change your card.
    Note. : The above message should be sent from your registered mobile no only

    Dinesh Kumar’s solution is absolutely correct! I had the same problem with my sbi visa debit card but umpteen visits to my home branch were useless because the staff could not solve the issue. Fortunately I came across Dinesh Kumar’s comment and took out a printout of it to show the sbi staffers what to do. This completely solved the problem. Thank ypu so much for your very helpful comment.
