Main Balance deduction despite of having Internet Pack

Hi Forum,

I am here to bring to your notice that Airtel has got the new way to rob the consumers in the form of deducting small small amount on the daily basis which on being accumulated become big amount. Let me share my experience with all of you here and warn you to be aware for this kinda fraud done by airtel.

I have been using Airtel’s 2G Internet service since June and my life has become hell because of it. Earlier Airtel was deducting one big amount from user’s account and now small small amount eg. Rs.4.29/ Rs. 14.89/ Rs. 5.45 and so on has been deducted from my main balance even after having Internet pack on my no. It has become nightmare for me to call up every time to airtel cc and face the mental trauma of being not attended by their CCEs for such complaints. Every month I am loosing more than 100 Rs. in such a way to airtel besides having Internet pack without any reason.
If I share this month’s experience, airtel’s 2G Internet pack of Rs. 98 is on auto-renewal basis. On 23rd of Aug it got auto renewed even after that my main account balance was getting deducted and when I called up CC then I was told that I recharged my account in the morning while it was over at night that’s why amount has been deducted and when I told that lady that it is on auto renewal basis then how come you are saying it was recharged in the morning, she transferred the call to sr. executive named Simran. He checked the details and told me that due to usage of 3G services this small small amount has been deducted from my account. I told him that 3G has been deactivated from my no long time back then he confirmed that it has been activated. Then he asked me to check my phone’s settings, I did the same and confirmed him that no 3G option is activated on my cell. He checked from his end again and assured me to refund my wrongly deducted amount of Rs.102.89 so far even after having Internet Pack and gave me the TAT of 28th of Aug.
Today, when I called up CC then same trauma I had to face. Firstly, their nos are not contactable….if any way u get connected to CCE then they keep you on long hold since they are not able to handle the calls so transfer to Sr. Executive. Now, Sr. Executive itself is asking minute details from me like – before auto renewal what was the balance…….after renewal……on which date your balance was deducted by what amount and what was the main amount balance that time……….summary of amount deducted so far…bla bla bla………On giving all info, she initially denied of any such deduction from my account bluntly however on my insisting and giving further details she agreed to wrong deduction on the day of auto-renewal. But before getting agreed on this she told me one new story that my balance was deducted because my Internet balance was over before auto-renewal which is not true from any sense.
If I have to take care of my balance on each and every minute then I don’t think Airtel’s software and servers are compatible enough to cater consumers. Everyday and every month I am spending my time and energy to fight and get back my balance. It seems I have opened one Charity account for Airtel and Airtel is deducting money as per it’s wish.
Just now (26th of Aug) Airtel has deducted 3 Rs. again from my account without any reason and on calling CC, unprofessionalism was shown by asking minute details from me again since their server is not working again asusual.

I don’t think their is any use of calling their so called Customer Care. I have lost Rs. 110 now to them and god knows how much more money I will be loosing more in such a way. Taking Internet Pack of Airtel is my biggest mistake in life.
