This is to bring to your kind attention the unfair trade practice that is being practised by this unscuplous company in cheating the customers.
I had ordered online for two sunglasses with the advertised code of SUN50 wherein the price of a particular sunglass originally quoted for Rs 1499.00 would be available at a discount of 50% and therefore available for around Rs 750.00. Due to oversight while completing the order I had forgotten to apply the code in the particular box and paid the full amount of Rs 1499.00.
It is my understanding that since the discount code has been advertised on the website and available to EVERYONE this code should be applicable by default since this is not an acquired discount code acquired on purchase of any goods or services. Now this company is refusing to refund the balance of the excess amount collected and through this forum I wish to warn the unsuspecting customers of the unhealthy and unfair trade practice by this company which incidentally comes under the purview of the Consumer Protection Act.
Through this forum I would wish to warn the customers to beware of such unfair trade practices indulged by this company in ripping off customers in the name of discounts.
