Dear Sir,
It is indeed great to have a sophisticated health care centre like AYURSUNDRA in Guwahati. But at the same time it is shocking for everybody if some careless things happen to a person who is actually going with some severe disease & went for some tests / examinations in AYURSUNDRA with a confidence of perfectness & gets a totally opposite & hopeless view. I have recently faced one that kind of situation which was really a bitter & ridiculous experience for me.
My father who is nearing 75 years old has been getting ill for last few months. As such we had a thorough check up of him & in connection to that some examinations need to be done. As I have heard that AYURSUNDRA is coming up with their ultramodern & sophisticated facilities with some experienced Doctors & quality machineries, So, I decided to do the required tests there & accordingly most of the examinations were done there.
Out of many tests, on February 11th, 2012 mesenteric lymph node aspirate was collected from the in side of my father’s stomach for the tests called AFB Staining, Gram Stain, Aerobic C/S & AFB Culture. As per the concerned office stuff of AYURSUNDRA the reports for the tests AFB Staining & Gram Stain were to be delivered to me next day, the report for the test Aerobic C/S to be delivered to me after 72 hours & the report for the test AFB Culture supposed to be delivered after 45 days as it needs to be sent to outside Assam (RELIGARE), They assured of informing me once the report (AFB Culture) comes. Accordingly I agreed to their version.
I received the reports for AFB Staining, Gram Stain & Aerobic C/S as per the dates given. But for AFB Culture report I had to wait for 45 days. Exactly on the 45th day I called & asked about the report, they told me that it has not been reached till date & will inform me. But I got no call from AYURSUNDRA. After that I called almost every 3/4 days but it was a common reply from them that “the report has not been come yet”. As per them they had been communicating with RELIGARE but it is not ready, they will inform me when it comes. After calling almost for 10 times in a period of 15 to 20 days I felt very embarrassed as without that report my father could not received the required treatment if there is any fault. So, on 28th of April I went to AYURSUNDRA & requested to provide me with the report somehow as it has already crossed 75 days instead of 45 days as they said. That day I was really shocked after getting a irresponsible answer from AYURSUNDRA that due to insufficient quantity of the collected sample it could not been sent to RELIGARE. It was really shocking for me. I am waiting for the result to give the earliest possible treatment to my father who is seriously ill & after more than 75 days I came to know that it has not been even sent for examination. It was really ridiculous. I should have informed very next day once it is confirmed that the sample quantity was not sufficient for examination.
Now, as a responsible citizen of the society I would like to request you to provide justice not only for myself but for the greater society so that with this example people must not convinced with the glitters of the so called ultramodern diagnostic centers like AYURSUNDRA in this region since the Health Minister always shouts about the development of this field. I am also attaching the photocopy copy of the letter given to me against the report mentioning about their mistake clearly for your ready reference
