For the transport of the house hold items, the aforesaid company representative Mr. Surendar Bhardwaj (Sharma)(Mob: 9821423721/ 7498988059 Email: [email protected]) surveyed our house & given a quotation of Rs. 22,000/- altogether & 80% payment at the time of loading & remaining after delivery as a condition. After loading all the goods in cargo dated on 01-07-2012, they added in the bill Rs. 2750/- service tax additionally & Rs. 3000/- for insurance charges & taken Rs. 20,000/- cash in hand. After 6th June, they started threatening us that you have to give full payment, otherwise we will not deliver the goods. After many this & that, finally we paid the rest of the amt. on 07/07/12. Still they dispatched the goods from Mumbai on 17/07/12 & we got them on 23/07/12 after 23 days. We had already paid Rs. 4000/- for loading unloading charges as per the quotation, still at the time of unloading I had to pay Rs. 500/- by myself, which they told they’ll reimburse, but they didn’t.
After unloading, we found many costly items were missing which were already mentioned in the list, which costs about Rs. 10,000/-; for which they are not at all bother about after informing to them.
They have not made any insurance against the paid fees, since they could not produce any document for that till today.
Please take the necessary action or guide us how to proceed. We are feeling helpless.
