Incorrect charging in the name of downloading Value Pack from Airtel

Location/place: Trivandrum

Name of company/service: Nokia ovi store game app – Airtel Value pack

Hi,

I downloaded t20cricket2012 game app from Nokia ovi store and tried to launch the application for using the game. I was directed to an advertisement page showing actress pictures and no cancel option. There was only one ‘tick’ symbol option in my Nokia C7 phone. I was confused whether this was symbol to go to game and I clicked on it. I was directed to a web page which I closed using ‘Red’ button in my phone. I then received an SMS from AT-AIRINF: Thanks for downloading Value Pack from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 99.0.
Rs 99 was deducted from my talk time. No content was downloaded to my mobile, nor did I want to purchase any content.

Please do the needful to refund back the lost Rs 99 as no information was shown regarding Rs 99 going to be deducted, in the advertisement.
And please stop these unwanted advertisements / apps getting supported from Airtel for paying from Airtel talktime.

Regards,
Adarsh

  1. Airtel has deducted my balance for no reason. When contacted their customer care they say it’s due to some content download whereas I already have 3G pack activated. Please stop playing with genuine customers before they stop trusting.
