SSR Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (Mohali – Chandigarh) which is not even a registered entity under the Registration of Companies Act is run by husband wife duo, Saniya Mehra & Shariq Rufai (Ali). They are in the business of duping innocent job seekers from across the country.
First they charge an initial amount of 5000 INR as registration fees for setting up interviews with reputed companies such as HP, Adidas, Quro for domestic as well as International vacancies. They then get the interview conducted by someone locally in Mohali or Chandigarh through skype so that the number cannot be traced. Then as usual, the interview is unsuccessful for every candidate and the registration fees goes down the drain. Then they offer the candidate another opportunity overseas by getting a fake assessment letter. Now this is done with another associate of theirs known as Aakash of Paradise International, in Anand Gujarat. They give you opptions such as Russia, Georgia, Australia, Canada and Cyprus. Any job seeker would be taken in for this scam, as they promise a visa no fee scheme. They show a rosy picture of a job, accomodation, decent salary etc. They then take you a overseas location where your visa would be processed (as per them). Airtickets is of course provided by the fraudsters.
Now the interesting part is they don’t charge you anything till you reach halfway to your destination. Then suddenly all hell break loose and as per this duo, something wrongs happens in the embassy so they need half the payment immediately. The candidate becomes hellbent in an overseas location without any help and these fraudsters gets the first lot of someone’s hard earned money. Post that the candidate is left alone & dry there. If at all luck around, the candidate manages to come back to India.
SSR Consultants Pvt. Ltd should not be trusted by anyone if they are getting anyone connected for an overseas vacancy. Reputed organizations such as HP, Adidas, Curo do not use small time vendors like them for filling up vacancies.
I urge the authority to investigate the matter and bring them to justice for thugging innocent job seekers. I can be contacted for all evidence against them. As a group, we have lodged a formal complaint against Saniya Mehra & Shariq Rufai in the consumer court as well as Ministry of Corporate Affairs for running an illegal business. Till that time, all countrymen should be aware of this fraudster duo.
