Harrasment by Whirlpool Customer Service

I have purchased a 450 liter Whirlpool refrigerator from Croma, DLF Mega Mall, Gurgaon on 5th May,2012.

It had physical damages during delivery. I complained to Croma regarding this. After pursuing for more than a week, they registered my complain and forwarded it to Whirlpool.

Whirlpool assigned an executive who was to visit us to collect the photocopy of the invoice. Even after a week he didn’t come. We had to call him several times to make him come and take the photocopy of the invoice.

After a couple of weeks, I started facing issues with its cooling system. It is still not making ice and doesn’t cool the water or products in the lower section. Also the door of the lower section doesn’t close properly. So I complained to Whirlpool to mend this until the replacement is done because according to them replacement may take a month. I registered a complaint on sunday, 24/05/2012 and got a message that some executive was to visit us that day. I have been calling daily many number of times but still they say that I have to wait and executive will come and visit today or tomorrow. When I asked that I have to complain against the person who was to visit us and hasn’t come yet, they say that I can’t complaint against them and all I can do is wait.

Croma has delivered a malfunctioning refrigerator which stopped working within one month of purchase and the pathetic service of whirpool has made this purchase the most tormenting deal of my life.

Kindly tell me what to do now.
