fraudulent charge for NDTV pack

I have again been FRAUDULENT CHARGES 100rs again for the below activities

1) call_center_2 – Rs 1 on 22/07/14 as my bill period is 24th to 23. This shows in my bill (24th Jul-23rd Aug) then how charged before 24th July.
2) d2c_ndtv_valuepk_9 – Rs 99 on 22/08/14.
I’m confused about this how these type charges applyed on my number as I did not download or sms never for this. In last month also company charged Rs 49 for same pack. so i called up vodafone and asked them to remove the charge and deactive this service as i did not activate this service. However the customer representative told me that they cannot reverse the charge and told that it will not happen in next month bill. They provide me same console in last month nevertheless they charged again in this month.I want to remove this charge and stop this types fraudulent services.

    wapvilla_ppd = Rs 49

    This is something that was falsely billed in my Aug 2014 postpaid Bill by Vodafone.
    9820307716-Mumbai.
    Vodafone please stop this fraud. Customer is not stupid to be cheated by you.

    Even I have got the same d2c_bdtc value pack rs99 added to my bill. I checked with the customer support online and he says that I have downloaded from chargeable site.
    Come on VODAFONE I am a software consultant and know my basics of browsing internet. More over I have wifi in office as well as home I am consuming your internet services only for travel purpose. If this does not stop from next month onward I will first excalate this matter to the highest level and then will leave your services. You cannot fool your customers so easily. Or atleast check the background of the customer before trying to fool around with them.

  4. Looks like this is a big fraud going on. I got falsely charged with Rs 296.

    When you email them about this, They just dont respond. When you call them, they give some stupid answers like I downloaded app and website. When I download app or website which is charging for doing so, for heavens’s sake I will be paying the app or website but not the telecom service provider.

    What amazes me is, These are shown as downloads with 0 KB Usage. When I show them this, they said the usage comes as part of my 1GB free internet. When I checked my internet usage, the timings of this downloads they charged are not in the list at all.

    And One more thing I observed is, Telecom service provider as more control over data usage than you do. Even during the times, I am sleeping and not using mobile, I see a lot of data being charged. I generally use wifi at home as well as at office. It just wonders me that how can I use near 0.5 GB data where I rarely use my 2G connection on mobile. It leads to the conclusion that service provider is the culprit.

    I am awaiting response from them. If I am not receiving, I am going to move court.

  5. CHEATER VODAFONE (FRADULENT COMPANY) also CHARGED ME RS. 99 for that idiotic “d2c_ndtv_valuepk_9” service. I never downloaded or subscribed to this service.

    People never never never never go with FRADULENT COMPANY VODAFONE. they are CHEATERS. they simply need your MONEY.

    I called Vodafone multiple times wrote chainssss of emailssssss to escalation contact numbers. NOthing happened.

    VODAFONE SHOULD BE BLACKLISTED for such fraudulent acts.

    Vodafone simply wants your hard earned money.

  6. Same here in my bill dated 19 Nov 2014.
    There are charges of 277 Rs regarding such packs.
    d2c_ndtv_valuepk_9 – Rs 99
    deals_mydala_99 – Rs 99
    hello1_tvallsouth – Rs 30
    wapvilla_ppd – rs 49

    God knows what are these charged for and why

    I never surfed to these sites.

    please help us yaar.

    VODAFONE has the worst customer service.
    They charged me 305 RS for :

    I dont have any idea what these things and when I called customer care they reply same everyone – “These are genuine charges and we dont have any more information”.

    Even mailing the escalation mail ids which they provide the response is exactly the same.

    VODAFONE shame on you. Being such a big company, you earn by fraud and making fool of customers.

    There is something fishy these guys are doing.

    I have ignored this in my previous bill and now again they have charged me for some other App bundle and this time 395 Rs.

    The apps are wapvilla_ppd, d2c_mydala_99, d2c_ndtv_valuepk_9, d2c_mazaa_49 and I have no idea how’s that is possible. If these packages are actually some site links which is charging content amount then it has to be from customer and can’t be from MNO.

    This seems to be bigger scam and I am ready to move to consumer court for this.

  11. Hi team. I am very disappointed with the services of Vodafone and the customer care executive. I am facing billing related issues from last 6 month. I am charged for downloading from paid website which I never done. Every time I complained about it on nodel email id. They accept that it was wrongly charges and reverse the same. So paid only the services which I am using. The same happened this time also. I mailed again but this time they said the charges are correct so no reverse is possible. I need all information related to that including website name date and time of subscription. Till time I will not get details I will not pay bill. I am using this no from last 3 years and always paid money on time. If this issue will not resolve I will switch my no to Airtel as I am getting calls from them for no portability. So requesting to help me as I want to continue service from you. It will be grt if someone will look into matter and resolve the same. Narayan 9873437210
