flight journey complaint

Location/place: belgaum karnataka

Name of company/service: shailvac engineers

Please note that two of us namely 1) Suhas Patil 2) Bhavesh Raval wanted to go to Montevideo – Uruguay by Emirates Airlines as per following route.
Mumbai – Dubai- Buenos Aires- Montevideo and return journey in the reverse order.

Since our final destination is Uruguay, we had obtained Multi-entry business visa to enter Uruguay (MVD)
As per the above schedule, we did check inn at Emirates counter – CSIA at Mumbai on 23 /7/2012
We were given boarding passes from Mumbai to Dubai and from Dubai to Buenos Aires and our luggage was booked up to Montevideo (luggage tag no EK 819493 and 819494
We reached Dubai by flight EK 0509 dated 23/7/2012 and kept waiting at the airport to board our next flight from Dubai to Buenos Aires EK – 0247 dated 24/7/2012
While boarding the above EK 0247 flight, we were told we cannot fly to Buenos Aires (EZE) since we did not had Argentina transit visa.
We had even shown Emirates authorities our connecting flight details and Uruguay Visa to go to Montevideo by Aerolineas Argentinas AR 2214 dated 25/7/2012 scheduled to depart from EZE at 06.35 hours (morning)
We tried to ask why do we need transit visa for Argentina but your staff at the transfer desk told us that as per the information available with them, no one can wait at EZE airport after midnight without a transit visa.
In this case we could not travel further (we were stopped to do so) and we were told to go back to Mumbai – India.
We feel, by sending us back from Dubai to Mumbai, we have lost our Mumbai – Dubai airfare, two days of travelling time, loss of Aerolineas Argentinas tickets due to no show, loss of business at Montevideo and other expenses like several international telephone calls made from Dubai
This is happened due to negligence from Emirates Mumbai ground staff. Had they stopped us from boarding EK -509 itself, we would not have travelled at all and we could have saved all above. Going to Dubai airport and returning from Dubai airport was certainly not our wish.
We therefore ask the court to kindly help us in reimbursing from Emirates airways with the entire journey ticket once again soon and provide us with emirates business class Lounge facility to compensate for our time and business loss.
We would like to inform you that If you do not take an action immediately, we will be forced to go to consumer court and request to compensate us all the loss including mental harassment. We look forward for your immediate action in this regard.
