I had received a Platinum BFL Existing Member Identification card (BFL EMI Card:2030400109606212) when I had initially purchased a flat screen tv for my parents. I was told that I would be having a 75,000 credit limit and that any electronic purchase that I would make I would be able to put it on my BFL Card and put it under EMI and pay it. The first purchase of flatscreen tv was fine and i paid all EMI’s and finshed the payment.
Today I went to a Croma Store in Delhi which has a Bajaj Finserve Lending center. I needed to purchase a digital camera and a smart phone and I needed it urgently and I wanted to put both the purchases on the BFL Card. The BFL agent sitting in the store simply refused the purchase of smart phone stating it is not covered. When I asked why,he did not even give up an answer. I ended up buying nothing on the BFL CARD that the company so proudly had stated would help me any electronice gadget of my choice. It seems they are ignorant that smartphones do come under electronic gadget category or to say consumer durables.
The Chroma Store in question is located in M2K Complex in Rohini Sector -3,New Delhi – 110085
Today they lost a trasaction and my faith with the company as I had to gift it to my wife and she was with me at the time of purchase.
