Damage to goods

I have shifted my luggages by a packers and movers named GATI KWE on 1st Aug 2014 bearing docket number 419363968 from Lucknow to Kolkata. My luggages was delivered on 8th Aug 2014 at 7 pm in evening.
After arriving the transport people claimed that delivery is from door to door and misbehaved when requested to put the cartons inside the gate. On the contrary, they thrashed all the cartons on floor which was marked fragile inspite of repeated warning and didnot wait for the luggages to be checked.
Once the luggages were opened next day, I found a costly item of my damaged by them during transportation .I called the company but they didnot pick up the phone. When mailed along with my complaints and photos of damaged products, I received an acknowledgement mail of my msg being received stating customer care people will call me back. But they didnot and I have put on 4 reminder mail for 10 days. When called after 10 days they responded that they have not received my mail but I was getting acknowledgement mail everytime I mailed.
They claimed that claiming for damaged goods need to be made within 24 hours but if a company doesnot pick up a phone or respond to the mails of their customers, it is not possible to register complaint.
Finally, I want the company to respond to my complaint which they havenot inspite of repeated mailings and calling them.They have even take money as an insurance and damage to the goods lies sole responsibility of company if it was packed in good condition from Lucknow. On top of that, the misbehaviour of delivery people has also been a matter of intolerance.
Please help me regarding this.
