Respected Sir,

myself Sarvsureshth Dhammi, i am requesting you to registering complaint from the behalf of my father Sh. Harkesh Dhammi against TATA VOLTAS AC customer care service dealer ludhiana. respected sir my father call them on their customer care centre on 2June 2012 to inform them about AC is not working and they gave the complaint no. 12ju620834. After that on 6June about 4:45pm their representative called us back, through this no (9653082360) and said service representative will come to my home on next day. On 7june two people come at my home one of them named Satpal Singh his contact no 9872552066. He said my AC is ok but my wiring have fault. On 8june my father throughout rechecked wiring and call to Satpal Singh he told me he will come in the evening but he did-not come. On next day I call on 9653082360 again and told them your worker has not come and he send other person at my home on 9 June 2012, after their checking they don’t understand what is the problem in AC and they said we are going to open it and will took its main circuit plate, transformer, display slid, remote for checking to their service centre and from that day they did-not come back till now and today is 17 June 2012 they are not picking the phone. From last 3 days I am calling them and they are saying you complaint is done we are coming to your home but they don’t. I re-registered my complaint as reference no. 12ju1608398. to TATA VOLTAS customer care centre on 16 June 2012. but no difference in their work. please Sir do something against them my father is aged person and not able do so much work more over they are sleeping without AC from 2June 201e and temperature is 45* outside. sir direct me what can I do against them so they will not do it again with any other customer and i want action against them. I will be very thankful to you.

    Hello all,
    i am facing a mental stress due to a Voltas Service Dealer here in Varanasi below is the complete summary………

    Purchased a Voltas Vertis plus Split AC on 12/7/2010 through a dealer.
    The AC was working fine till 14/8/2013 and due to a technical fault i contacted and lodged a complaint in Voltas Service Center who’s authorized Service Centre ELECTRONIC SERVICE CENTRE contacted me and took the external Unit to there workshop for repairing purpose, after 15 days they returned and installed that unit with a charge of Rs. 3200/-, after that also AC wasn’t working properly, Mr. Anand was the fellow who was responsible for shipping, repair and billing, so after contacting him again he was just trying absconding and making excuses like “Karta Hun…..Bhejta hun, Karwata Hun all those crap” this scenario was there for 3+ months after that i called that service center and talked to Mr Anand first he was talking in his name only, Mr Anand and after 2 days when i called them again another fellow was saying Mr Anand left that Shop 2 months ago, so who talked me in the name of Mr Anand for the first time anyways i told them to get my AC repaired and this time they came and took away the whole AC(Internal + External) Unit on 10/01/14……now it has been more then 3 months i didn’t got my AC back, when i called them they were saying it under progress but from past few days they are not even picking my phone while calling from unknown number they picked when asking for AC a guy says i don’t know anything i will ask Mr Shamshaad for this and i will call you in 10 minutes, he never called and made the same excuse of Mr Shamshaad several times.

    after complain email i recieve my ac back at my home but no one come for installation.

    Now i don’t know what to do the next so at last i am writing this complaint.

    I would like to inform you that I purchased Voltas Window 1.5 air conditioner, Model Name Y. Platinum 1.5, Unit Serial No. 4011039A12LOO7260 from Sarv Airtech, Sector-8, Rohini, Delhi-110085, in the last week of April 2013. I called customer care team for the wet service of the A.C under warranty period.

    R.P.Singh (name of the technician) along with his assistant visited my place to perform that service on 03.04.2014. He performed the service well and gave me service report whose serial number is 14040300672. But some burning kind of smell was there when he started the A.C for checking purpose. I told him this thing but he refuted by saying ‘ki ye to abhi aise hi aa rahi hai bohot dino k baad jo chala hai A/c, ye to apne aap theek ho jaega’ and gave OK Service report . Then I called customer support service team several times to report this issue but nobody is ready to attend my call. The computerized recorded voice say that our server is either down or busy with other customers.

    Sorry to say, I am highly disappointed with your after sales services. Being a TATA brand I never expected such kind of behavior from your side. Now the same problem is still there with the A.C. I think the problem is that after servicing the A.C, the technician has forgotten to dry the fan motor or compressor completely because he was in hurry. Now the compressor demands varnishing or something.

    My complain no is 14042505879 dated 25 april 2014 in Gurgaon 122001 HARYANA for 1.5 Ton window AC
    when i called tecnician from Voltas i was told that PCB card is faulty.they replaced and i got my AC serviced also from them
    After servicing when they were installing my electricity got tripped several times but finally they installed and switched it on. they charged 2000 rs and left immidiatly. within seconds they left burning smell started coming from AC and it stopped. I immediately switched it off and called that guy. Another guy came next day and told that during service water got inside FAN MOTOR and because of this it got burnt. They took Fan Motor on 27th April. i made several calls to customer care and dealer directly to return with my Fan Motor. They came back on 4th MAY but did not install because there were some screws missing so technician left promising to return by evening. My AC is lying in dismantle condition in spite of paying full amount to VOLTAS

    After that till date i have made number of calls to customer care and local dealer in Gurgaon to whom i paid but still in vein. Every time i was told it will be done today but no one attends my complaint. Is this my fault that i trusted VOLTAS and paid double money for my problem comparative to outside mechanics. Does voltas care for their customers or not. Does VOLTAS is responsible for their Dealers irresponsibility or not.

    I am really harresed and disoppointed from voltas and its dealers. NEED help in this regard want my problem fixed immidiately

    Dear Voltasac customer care
    Deeply saddened to see this attitude of yours while satisfying the need of the customers.
    My father in law had complained first on 7th June 2014 regarding the cooling/compressor of the ac.He was given the complaint number 14060701616.Somebody from Voltas was supposed to come and attend to the issue within 24 hours.But 5 days have passed since then and there is no news.Repeated calls to the customer care has yeiled no result at all.
    So looking at the above posts as well finally we have come to the conclusion that voltas doesnot care for their customers.
    But I would like to tell you that you can fool your customers only once.
    We have decided not to buy any of your products in future nor recommend anyone into buying.

    I’m a consumer,using Tata’s Voltas Window AC 1.5 ton.When I went for purchasing Voltas AC every shopkeeper suggested me not to go with Voltas as they have service issue,but I thought its a myth & I end up buying one.But now I’m experiencing this problem now,as the service centre “A.R Electronics”,located at George Town,Allahabad,U.P. The name of the owner of service centre is Mr.Rizvi.They are pathetic in providing service to their Voltas consumers.They give rude replies.The technician do come at our place but to get my AC repaired they say to us that ” You have to deliver the AC to our service centre”.Have anyone ever heard that AC has to be delivered by the consumer to the service centre,Its pathetic.
    When I asked the technician that everybody says that the service of Voltas is bad he nodded in a tauting way “Hanji Sir,Service toh aisi hi hai aur agar isko sahi karwana hai toh George town pahunchwa dijiye nahi toh dekh lijiye”. This was the stupid reply I got from the employee of Voltas service centre.Trust me I have never seen such service from AC company’s.Just tell me ome thing consumers are not fools,they get to know about a product once & will never buy any product of Voltas in future,Voltas can fool the people once but not everytime.I have other ACs as well & there warranty is over but still customer care is so active & service centre take timely actions but Voltas is pathetic.
    I want Voltas to take care of this else I’m gonna file a complaint in consumer forum.

I find that there is no cooling, even after continuously running ths ac,4month brought this to the dealerand also the service managar of voltas; my complaint has not been attended properly so far; complaints number is-14062302896

  15. Complaint no. 14092700415. Technician Mr. Irfan has attended the complaint on 1st October, 2014 and filled the gas because of non cooling. He has removed the nutbolt cap (Black colour) and while placing he was not finding one cap so he has removed our neighbours nutbold cap (brass) and placed in our machine. Why did he touched any other machine when he has come for Voltas? We cannot trust voltas because they can do anything. I have purchased Voltas machine on 15th April, 2014 and after one month there was a oil leak, representative have attended and said it is ok. I dont know what he has done our gas was leaked. From April, 2014 till september it was my 2nd complaint. I will not suggest anybody for Voltas in future.

    With reference to above cited matter we would like to bring to your kind notice that We had purchased 3 split AC on 22.01.15 through your Dealer M/s High Cool refrigeration Dwarka, Sector-7, unfortunately 1 AC was not installed properly, we lodge a complaint through your Customer care no. 1800-425-4555 on 20.04.2015 they given us a complain reference No. 15042003045.next day Mr. D.C. Rajora visited our place [ on 21.04.15] they suggested Gas needed for this machine so you called Mr. J. D. Verma on this No. 9811214882 , we are calling to Mr. Verma on daily basis but till date result is zero.
    Regret to inform you , we are highly disappointed with your after sales services. Being a icon of TATA brand we never expected such kind of service from your side.
    So looking at the above as well as finally we have come the conclusion that Voltas Company does not care for their customers.
    Company making fool to their customers we have decided not to buy any Tata product in future nor recommend any one for the same so prefer to launch a complaint at Consumer forum as we would have better out- come than with Voltas after sales services .

    Hello Sir,
    My Complaint Number is 15061003416, complaint date 10th June 2015. My AC has ice problem because of GAS leakage as per voltage technician, and fill up the gas on 15th June 2015 and took full payment 2200 INR and inform that same problem will not happen and next 3 month if problem will happen, they will do it free, but in 2 days same issue with my AC, and I reopen my complaint via customer care number on 19th June 2015, After so many call some technician came from voltage on 27th June 2015, and inform AC has gas leakage problem, some other technician will come and solve that. But no one came or called till today 4th July 2015 and when i called to customer care, they are telling me, i am putting your request in high priority and technician will help you in 24 hours.But day after day this 24 hours never end.     कृपया कोई भी Voltas काAC मत खरीदना बहुत ही खराब Service है मैने April 2015 में खरीदा २३/७/१५को खराब हो गया २४/७/१५ को मेने काल सेंटर पर complaint करी मेरा complaint no.15072406399 हे २७/७/२०१५को मेकेनिक आकर कोइ Part खोल कर ले गया उसके बाद गायब आज २५ दिन बाद बडी़ मुशकील से ठीक करा इतनी जलदी खराब हुआ मतलब kwality भी खराब।

    I would like to inform you that I purchased Voltas Split air conditioner, from Pawar Sales. Vadodara on 6th August 2015. I was very excited to have my First Ac and started dreaming of comfort. But……I forgot to do survey market for after sales support of Tata Voltas.
    My story starts now……
    1st Experience: Cooling lost all of sudden on 10-08-2015 (4th days of installation)
    2nd Experience: Every 15 days cooling lost and I kept on contacting my Showroom Owner ( Pawar Sales) and Tata Voltas Company Service Engineer to get the resolution of cooling related problems. This happened more than 10 times and I got frustrated from the response and the product of the TATA ( A Brand Name in Universe) During this pathetic time period I never felt the comfort of AC even if I owned it and spent money for that.
    Since 22nd April 2016 Tata Voltas Service Engineer and Mr. Aakash-8264827373 (Senior Manager Vadodara) and Technician Mr. Aabid- 9904773438 took away my AC unit and they committed to return it within a week time with permanent solution. But till date I did not get any kind of positive response from Tata Voltas Team and every time I keep on calling to know mu update of AC. They are making false commitment and they even do not know that when the part will be replace and the AC will start working.
    It is my humble request to you all Customer care Team to look into this matter and resolve this issue in high priority. Since first day of purchase this AC, I got annoyed and now it is difficult to trust anymore. It’s almost a year and now the warranty is also going to be lapsed.
    Sorry to say, I am highly disappointed with your after sales services. Being a TATA brand I never expected such kind of behavior from your side. My details are as under.

    I purchased voltas 60 ltr cooler 6 days back and I am facing problem as the cooler is not working. I COMPLAINT on customer care and technician visited and said senior team would visit and will solve your problem. But when they left i received message that my complaint was resolved. Then I again called the customer care and dealer so they said my complaint will be answered in 24 hours and again technician visited and said senior technician would visit and after a few hours I again received message that my complaint was resolved .Tata voltas is providing very bad after sales service and i would suggest not to buy Tata voltas product. I trust Tata so i bought voltas but i think this area is not taken care by Tata group. They are just dumping the box and then doing nothing.

    I bought voltas 183lyb ac.only 1 month me Cooling problem aa ghi , koi response nhi mila hai pichle 2 month se complain pe complain karne par bhi. complain no. per call karne par senier ki 4hour baad call back karne ki baat khate hai. Lekin picle 72hour se koi call back nhi aayi.ek baar senier se baat ki thi unhone 2day me problem solve karne ki baat ki thi nhi to ac change karne ki baat ki thi. So i want replace ac and give the new ac immediately.Thanku

    i have resiterded a complient on 09/10/2015 vide complient no 16100903712 the complient is not resolved and on 22/10/2016 i have got message from voltas that request is been cancelled and the reason is given coustomer reshedule . on 22/10/2016 i have called the service center and they have alloted a new complinet no 16102203024 which is not attened till now. what kind of service is voltas providing. the unit is under warrenty.

    I have purchased 2 ton split AC couple of days back and registered call for installation. I never received call from your representative rather I received message after 3 days that request has been cancelled due to customer’s unavailability. This is highly unprofessional and unethical at your end. Your representatives are giving their management false impression and there is no one to keep check on this. This morning when I call your helpline number to escalate, your representative told me to arrange call back in 10 mins with senior manager as he himself don’t have any answer and it has been whole nobody called.. Even during last season, I purchased Voltas inverter Ac and I has hard time coping up with you guys. You may check my all complaints registered from my mobile number. Highly illiterate & under skilled staff you guys are having. I must say that you guys have such pathetic after sales service and highly irresponsible staff. It is not expected from Brand like you. You guys are letting your customers down and degrading your image. I would highly recommend everyone not to purchase Voltas products and refrain themselves indulging into unnecessary pain due poor service from your side. Also, I would request you to take strict action on my complaints and acknowledge me about actions you have taken.

    I have purchased Voltas Split A.C. -1.5 ton model No. 185 Zyja from Electronic trader’s market no. 5 NIT Faridabad on 09 April 2017 in the name of Miss Swati Lakhani. This AC is not working properly since then like not cooling properly. Many times I complained in Voltas Customer care but failed to resolve my problem. Right now AC is in guarantee period .I am dissatisfy for this A.C . Many times I call technicians for customer care. The recent messages which is retained at my end from customer care is on 24 April 2017 giving request No.17042406112, engineer came after 2 days but again problem persists , another compliant is on 28 April 2017 –Request No. 17042911735, after which again complaint made on 14 May 2017 –Request No. 17051404101. Till date no solution to our problem. Moreover engineer has dismantled pipe connection and water is leaking at the front end inside the room but they are not bothered to find the fault and fix it went off saying he will come again to fix it but no one has turned up . Voltas is giving very poor service and quality. I will not suggest any person to purchase any product because I am frustrated with this product. Worst and careless service being provided.

  71. Worst service and Customer support.

    I bought this So called TATA Voltas just to support India’s manufactures.
    To avail the 1st free service customer has to call support people and also it should be within the warranty period.
    Note:- Never ever buy TATA products.

    I HAVE LAUGED A COMPAINT ON 23.4.2018 REGARDING AC FAN IS NOT WORKING. (COMPLAINT NO. 18042002394/18042214401) Mr. RIZWAN VISITED FROM CHILZ JANAKPURI AND TROUBLESHOOTED THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE PCB (PRINTED,CIRCUIT,BOARD) AND COLLECTED THE VISITING CHARGES. NEXT MORNING I CONSULTED A LOCAL TECHNICIAN. HE INFORMED ME THAT PCB IS ABSOLUTELY FINE .. NO ISSUES WITH THE PCB. I AGAIN CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY SENT A TECHNICAIN MR. JATINDER VISITED ON 25.4.2018 IN THE AFTERNOON AND AGAIN HE DIAGNOSED THE SAME ISSUE. BUT I AM SURE MY PCB IS WORKING FINE. BECAUSE WHEN I POWER ON THE AC ALL THE LIGHTS GLOW. I AM ALSO ATTCHING THE FILE WHICH SHOWS THAT MR.JATINDER HAS MENTIONED THAT PCB IS NOT WORKING.

    Voltas brand and its dealer “Global Tel” Gaya. with bare and folding hands will request you please don’t cheat people like this. i am lodgind this complaint on behalf of Inverted AC installed in my house. Since one and half month the AC is fitted over the wall just as a show piece – when it will start cooling the room, dont know. After investing 51000.00 rs for AC, and more how much amount i have to pay to get the AC started onroute – nightmare itself.
    Pathetic service!!
    never ever buy any Voltas product.

    I would like to inform you that I purchased Voltas Inverter 1.0T AC, Model 123VCZT, from Aircol Enterprises, Mamangalam, Kochi-682025 on 30th April 2018. Within two year, My A/C is not cooling and raised complaint in Voltas customer care wide no-21012308572.

    Technician visited my place to perform that service on 26.1.2021. He checked the A/C and gave me service report (bill number is 53095) with a service charge of Rs.600/- without resolving the issue.
    Still A/C is in dead situation and technician told external unit board is not functioning and need to replace which may cause more then 10000/- + service charge. It is very pain full to spent another 10000+ within two year even though I have done all free service within Extended warranty period (18050909666).

    Sorry to say, I am highly disappointed with your Product & services within warranty period itself. Being a TATA brand I never expected such kind of behavior from your product.
    Now the same problem is still there with the A.C.

    I’m not in a position to spend this much money in Pandemic situation is very difficult.
