Dear Sir,
It is with disgust that I lodge my complaint at the pathetic service being provided by your company’s Ulubari Circle led by your SDO Mr. Girin Sarma and his team.
We have been driven to this state due to the horrible response or rather no response by the above mentioned circle in providing us continuous problem free service against our landline no. 0361-2453227 since the past 1 year.
Facts of the Complaint :
1. This landline (0361-2453227) is in the name of my father, Late. Topon Lal Baruah (I.A.S Retd), Ex-Home Commissioner, Govt. of Assam, House No.7, 12-Bye-Lane (West), R. G. Baruah Road, Guwahati – 781024. BSNL Account No – 8000194996
2. There has been no default on our part at any point of time since installation of this landline with respect to payment of bills. This may please be verified from your records since the time you have started giving services against this landline.
3. Since the past 1 year the number of complaints which have been registered against this landline should be verified at your end. A few complaint numbers are stated herewith. 11640449562, 11818464752, 11808056912. It should also be checked at your end, the no. of open-ended complaints still not resolve, the time gap taken to resolve the complaints, the frequency of complaints, the nature of complaints.
4. We have also met the SDO, Mr. Girin Sarma, more than twice in person but all he could assure or commit was that the problems cannot be resolved permanently and neither immediate resolution can happen. He informed us that he manages our area with only 1 lineman by the name of Mr. Konwor and that this lineman remains on frequent leave from duty. He also suggested us that we should surrender the existing landline and take a wireless phone since he is incapable of providing service against this landline.
5. The SDO, Mr. Girin Sarma, gave us his mobile no.9435599137 but very unprofessionally, has never taken even a single call made by us. We have tried many times to contact him.
6. We have always lodged our compalints at 198 and have also called your Ulubari circle compalint no.0361-2451111 every time.
7. The current status of this landline is that it is DEAD since last 1 month.
We ask for immediate redressal of our grievances and seek continuous trouble free services. We are facing mental harrasment, loss of contacts, loss of emergency services, loss of security since the past 1 year. But your company has regularly raised and collected the monthly bills against this landline till December 2012 and have already raised the bill for January 2013 on 5th February 2013 and the due date for payment of the same has been fixed on 25th February 2013. Your company has been collecting primarily the rentals of landline and broadband without providing any services against this landline.
We desperately seek immediate attention to this matter for instant resolution.
