I had applied for a CitiBank Credit Card, which I have never received. CitiBank tried to deliver it at my residential address but as I am at work during the day they could not deliver it there. Afterwards I received a call from CitiBank to talk about their inability to deliver at residential address. I requested them to change the address to my Official Address. But still they could not deliver it. I tried to call at the CitiPhone Number given as their helpline but my request could not be processed there as I did not have the number of the credit card issued in my name because I had never received it to know the number. Without knowing the card number neither my complaint could be registered nor my address could be changed. One Citi Bank official happened to call one day and I tried to communicate the matter to her, but she refused to take any action for the change of address as she said that my DoB in their data base did not match with my actual DoB which I told her to confirm my identity. I tried to tell her that CitiBank needs to check the details and rectify the error from the documents submitted by me, which clearly prove my correct DoB. But she acknowledged her inability to do so.

I keep receiving emails regarding the offers on this card, which I have never received. I wrote several emails to CitiBank to request them to cancel this card issued in my name as I have never received the same, but no action seems to have been taken in this regard. I wrote email to [email protected] & to [email protected] on 23rd Feb 2013,requesting Citi Bank to cancel this card with immediate effect and stop sending me further communication regarding the same. But I still continue to receive calls from Citi Bank sales personnels on my official phone to sell complementaty products, which is very annoying and troublemsome for me and my employer. On 1st July 2013 a letter has been delivered to my residential address to inform me that I have not been using their card issued to me and to reiterate the benefits of the card. I wish to ask them how am I supposed to use a card which has never been received by me.

Now I wish to complain against this inapt behaviour of the Citi Bank sales people as well as the continued harassment of my mental peace by intruding into my personal as well as proffessional life through their unwanted communication. I wish to inform CitiBank through this forum that I will not be liable to pay any fee or charges associated with this card issued in my name which I have never received.

Additionally, if this card issued in my name is not cancelled with immediate effect to avoide any misuse of the card and if I receive any further communication regarding this card which has never been collected by me, then I will be forced to take legal action against their organization and demand suitable compensation for the mental harrasment.
