Sir, I have been New India Assurance Co Ltd Mediclaim Policy from last 8 Years. But never claimed anything as we never faced any issue of hospitalization as such so far.Recently My wife was hospitalized n emergency on Saturday 25/06/2016 and she gone through an operation on SUNDAY 26/06/2016 and finally discharged from Hospital on Monday 27/06/2016; As per Mediclaim I had with New India Assurance Co Ltd (Policy number 1701003415200006464 dated 05/01/2016 in which Rs.1/ coverage for each family members) – I incurred Rs.40560/- in Hospital and accordingly I claimed everything. After following up for one and half months- TPA paid me 17235 only and deducted 23325/- for no reasons. When I inquired, they said its as per T & C which has been given to you. But In fact there is no T & C never ever given to me. Whatever those 4 sheets I use to get is being attached. In which its clearly written that Rs.1 L is covered for each member. Also after this I could not able to claim around 8000/- post hospitalization expenses. From last 3 months I am following up with them but they are not ready to listen anything. Its purely fraud by New India Assurance Co and Agents. As per Agents, he has given the T & C documents which is false statement. Also they don’t have any proof to prove it. New India Assurance Co and Agent both are trying to wash their hands and not ready to clear my 23325 (deducted amount) and further 8000/- post hospitalization expenses.The worst part is that the Branch of Issuing my Policy and the Agent they themselves had some understanding and closed the case now. and The replies are just formalities; Below trail mails are for your reference. I have received only 4 pages from Insurance companies which I have attached for your reference. I have not received any other document from insurance company. I have attached those 4 pages and also the claim settlement by their TPA.
