Cheater company Appbuy.com

Location/place: SIDHI- MP

Name of company/service: WILMINGTON at APPBUY.COM

WILMINGTON at APPBUY.COM have been deducted from my Credit card ending 3013 rs.200/- of HDFC BANK without my consent on 13 May-2013 so I want to stop the transaction for above WILMINGTON at APPBUY.COM immediatly. I have blocked my Credit Card immediately. Need to help to get refund the same.

    Some of the applications we sell via AppBuy.com are one time purchases along with monthly subscriptions applications. In this case it sounds like you signed up for a weekly/monthly subscription.

    If you would please contact us here http://appbuy.com/contact and have the first six and last four numbers of the credit card handy so we can stop the billing.

    It appears that you have signed up to a monthly subscription via one of our applications. There are a few ways to unsubscribe: 1) Contact support at any of the numbers here http://appbuy.com/contact, and have your account number and/or the first 6 and last 4 of the credit card used to subscribe. 2) Email [email protected] your account number and/or the first 6 and last 4 of the credit card used to subscribe with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line.

    I have purchased an APP (Iam not remember APP name) on 25-April-13 and 50 Rupees was charged from my credit card no ending with 0730.

    On 03-may , 14-june, 12 July & 8 August) APPBUY.COM was charged 200 rupees. I dont’t know they are charging this money

    So I want to stop the transaction for above WILMINGTON at APPBUY.COM immediatly.

    I want to Unsubscribe what ever i purchased
    Need to help to stop this transaction .

  8. I have had the same problem. I have not purchased any apps and they seem to deduct money from me on a monthly basis.

    On 8th August I purchased the Armour Android booster for Rs 50 through my credit card and I didnt subscribe any application for Rs 200. But yesterday the 15th August 2013 they made a transaction for Rs200 without my consent. Please do help me I dont want any more transaction with this APPBUY.COM. This was the message that I got for the transaction…Rs 200 was spent on your credit card 4386xxxxxxx1716 on 15th Aug-13 at APPBUY>COMINR. PLEASE ADVICE THEM NOT TO CONTINUE THIS KIND OF UNETHICAL ACTIVITIES GOING FORWARD.

I honestly think its pretty stupid I’ve never bought an app and also I’ve never heard of appbuy.com but it still takes $8 out every month and now I get yelled at from my parents because of it and don’t tell me I’m part of your monthly subscription whatever because I’ve never bought an app through there I haven’t bought an app since like last year honestly. I’ve tried calling customer service or support whatever it is but it sends me to voicemail cmon now? I want my money back but of course it will never happen how pathetic.

    My name is CAPT HAMIDU and a holder of Debit card (Visa) with last four digits as ……….0979. I observed with dismay the unwholesome and dubious practice being perpetrated by APPBUY.COM by way of siphoning money from my account without my approval or consent. APPBUY.COM has been siphoning the sum of USD16.19 from my account for 3 consecutive months as follows:
    a. 22 Mar 2013 – USD16.19
    b. 23 Nov 2013 – USD16.19
    c. 6 Nov 2013 – USD16.19
    I have not purchased any item online with approval that such amount be deducted from my account monthly. This is outright stealing. I therefore demand that the total amount of USD57.57 be returned to my account immediately. It is evident from the series of complaint that this company is out to dupe unsuspecting members of the public. I wish to warn that a repeat of this act will not be taken lightly.

I have not purchased any item online with approval that such amount be deducted from my account monthly.This is an outright stealing. I therefore demand that the total amount be refunded to my account immediately. It is evident from the series of complaint that this company is out to cheat unsuspecting members of the public. It should be sanctioned accordingly.

    This same thing is happening with me, they tell me they have refunded my account and I have yet to see the money. They tell me they cancelled the account and yet I am still being charged. I have been emailing this company since August trying to get this resolved and have been being charged for a year, the amounts started off small but continues to go up, the last charge was for 13.86. The customer care representative are full of crap, they say the have taken care of it and canceled it but I see no results. I’m beginning to wonder if it is possible to sue the company for fraud. I have never had their app on my devices that they claim I have and do not know how they received my account info in the first place.

    I can understand how frustrating this continued inconvenience is and I am happy to help you.

    I have checked the account that was canceled and credited from before and do not show any further charges as well as the refunds being successfully processed. If you have not received the refunds and still receiving charges the wrong account may have been canceled. Can you please confirm the credit or debit card details from the card that was originally charged back in November 2012? If the card was changed or updated we would need the old card number. The bank should have the old card information on file, please contact them to ask what card was charged for the first transaction back on November 13, 2012. Once you get that information can you please respond with the first 6 digits, last 4 digits and expiration date of that card please?

    As soon as I receive this information I will access that account and research this further.

    This is the last email I have received from them, I have no other banking account, they are charging the same account the whole time and my bank card number has not been changed, this has been confirmed by my bank. This company is only out to steal money from the public, there must be legal action that can be taken. The customer service plays games and does not provide results. Don’t waste your time contacting their customer service, contact your bank immediately to file a discrepancy claim.
