I had made online hotel booking through travelguru on dated 6th June for hotel sunshine, Mumbai.
My check in date was 7th June 2012 till 8th June 2012. (Booking ID-TGU0000741757,AMT-2280)

As per schedule I and my newly wedded wife checked in the hotel by 7:30 pm-8 pm.
Travelguru executive Ujjwal had told me that the hotel is 3 star level and just 2-3 km away from andheri station but I found it was not worth 3 star but also more than 10 km away from andheri station. But we were so tired due to admission procedure of my wife; we didn’t negotiate these things and checked in the hotel.

When my wife was taking bath she shouted from the bathroom that somebody was staring her from the window inside the bathroom. I ran to see what happened I found that the house keeping guy who brought us to room was trying to hide behind the AC. I ran out to catch him but he somehow managed to run away. I complaint about the guy and asked them to call all servant and when servants came i recognized the accused, whom my wife slapped. But management neither bothered to punish him nor helped us. These people were arguing that it never happened in their hotel and they will check the CCTV cameras. But when I ask him to check CCTV Footage they refused by saying that they don’t have permission to allow guest to check CCTV camera footage. I called one of my friend police constable Salunke, Mumbai (phone no- 09870105576) and told them about the incident and the behavior of the staff. He talked to the manager about their carelessness but still these people were arguing that such incidence never happened in their hotel. From their response we were realized that these people were trying to help and save their servant. We were so scared about the incident and behavior of staff that we didn’t prefer to stay such place where management doesn’t care about the privacy of guest and decided to check out And I asked for my refund. But manager told me that for cancellation of online booking I have to contact TravelGuru.

I contact to travelguru customer care executive and told her the whole incidence, the lady executive suggest me to check out the hotel as the privacy was an essence. And she gave me assurance that she will take action against hotel management and will refund my money within five working days.
And we checked out the hotel, we were so tired and have come back to Bangalore next day morning; otherwise i would have complaint to police station about the incident.
Till 9pm to 12 am. My wife and I were wondering here and there searching for accommodation (with luggage) and somehow managed to get accommodation in Hotel Welcome, CST Mumbai.

On 18th June I again contact travelguru customer care executive and asked about my refund which was yet to credit in my account. But she (Donna) told me that hotel people told her that I didn’t carried and produced valid identity proof (Though I produced my original PAN Card and my wife’s Pan Card (which is not changed yet as we got married last month) (Both Resident of Nagpur)) and they didn’t found anything in CCTV Camera as I complaint, and she not only refused to refund my money but also refused about their commitment of refund of money also.
After talking with the executive I found that I have been cheated by not only Hotel Sunshine management but also by travelguru.

I was so surprised while listening the argument from the travelguru executive that, without solving the issue of unsatisfied and harassed customer, she was questioning customers (My) credibility and merits (by giving reference of argument given by Hotel sunshine staff (accused)).
I complained (mail, 22 june,2012) to service and on 23rd june,2012 I got reply that they will solve the issue in three working days but since today I didn’t get any reply even after reminding then on (27th june,2012). Now these people didn’t bother to reply not to solve any querry.
Travelguru is cheating people by providing fake information about the Hotels and the ratings of hotels given by the traveguru are completely inflated and false. But also they don’t value the customer services and privacy. And don’t bother to betray/cheat customer over their commitments.
