Cheated and threatened by Tikona service provider

Location/place: pune

Name of company/service: tikona broadband services

I am getting very un-professional recovery calls from your department phone#91-8505020435,7792011395. First he is offering me to do out of court settlement for something I am liable to pay and then he is threatening me that case is registered against me in delhi high court and i have to pay penalty for 50000 or else get me arrested with police . Well it seems he doesn’t know the Law of this country. If this continues, I will take legal action against Tikona for harrassment and humiliation for the manner he talks on the phone.

    One guy called from 8505020435 mentioning that he is one of the high court advocate and calling from Delhi and threatened me by saying that he will register a file court case. Because of poor service we have stopped using Tikona and surrendered all the accessories which he has provided to us, but once again they have started calling me and asking Rs.1090.00 as due payment. I had settled all the payments at the time of surrender.

    Unwarranted calls received from this number 8505020435. Company has to look into this other wise we have to file a complaint against the company.

    Threatening calls from 8267927937 and 8445168197 from Tikona..!

    I am getting threatening calls from this two numbers saying calling from High court and final hearing is pending today. Call the lawyer regarding the details,

    Due to feasibility issues, we stopped the Tikona service. We lodged many complaints with Tikona customer care of complaints no(#1-2233823817, 1-2243160079 and 1-2241915111). and they referred this to their technical team, they confirmed finally feasibility is 0% in specific to my point. Even we paid the(installation charges + 1 month advance:1100, plan name: ADBB449). We did not received the advance as well.
    Tikona is making the threatening calls for bill payments again.

    One girl called from 8267927937 mentioning that she is one of the high court advocate and calling from Delhi and threatened me by saying that she will register a file court case.
    I do not know why i am getting call from this number.
    Unwarranted calls received from this number 8267927937. Company has to look into this other wise we have to file a complaint against the company.

    8505020435 this guy calling me, threating me that,he will send police to my home.he is harrasing me..what is tikona service? i use this connection ,4th dec to 14th jan ..i hav to pay 2500 rupee..thnks

    I have disconnected from tikona almost 1 year back. A person called me in the morning from 8505020435 and threatening me that i need to pay the amount 1850 to tikona online immediately within one hour. Also threatening that he sends police. I cleared all my bills and then applied for tikona disconnection. its a big concern for me for such a kind of threatening.

    Hi,

    I had requested for service disconnection from month of May 2013. Still not I got any conformation and I am not getting any call for that. Still the service is showing active status on my account on-line.

    Please verify in your record and let me know. Every month bills are getting added to my account. This is not good.

    Reason of disconnection:
    Service is not available in my new shifted area.
    Even Tikona Technical person came to my home and verify that it is not feasible.
    When are you going to do due money settlement ? Take care of my advance deposit money and please inform and take back your devices.

    I cant keep these devices any more in my home.
    I want to return this device on advance money + do the bill amount adjustment. with no usages time wavier.

    Today morning I got a call from Mr. Rajendra From Delhi[As he said]. He is claiming that he will do legal action if I will not pay the bill that I had not used the service. Actually he is from Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh.

    Till date as per my record and mails, bill statement all my dues are cleared.
    I had requested for disconnection request many time but it didn’t happened so far bills are keep generating, But I had not used your service. You can verify with your technical team for my data usage record.

    Please do the need full help to close my account and looking for your healthy cooperation.

    My name is Sudarshan (Service Id 1103290009), I had forcefully
    enrolled to TIkona Broad Band service since from Jan 2011. Earlier the
    plan which I had selected was for 6 months 300 kbps & I had paid lump
    sum amount of Rs. 3639/- to activate the same. After then it was
    observed that Tikona network was very bad and the speed was too slow,
    I had requested either to refund my funds or change the plan to cb-
    299 2mbps speed. Again I had a problem speed was too low and even
    network problem; I had not used the service most offently. Due to
    frastration and irritation I had also requested to stop my service
    immediately. But then I requested to kindly adjust my payment &
    then discontinue the service.
    After six months I suddenly received a bill for the month of October, which was more than Rs. 2000/-. This was very frastrating, these peoples are cheaters. They had already used my money since from january 2011 & I
    had told them earlier that once the money is been adjusted do not
    continue the service. Then also they were keeping on sending below bills. I had never asked them to pay the interest for the money which they had hold, but they are asking me to pay the bills which were irrelevant. I had already asked to discontinue my service.
    I had sent so many mails to below id for discontinuation of service since from April 2011 till Dec 2011, but no one had taken pain to respond.

    Now after two years they crossed there limits & went to a height.
    Today I had received a call from number 8505020435, stating that “we are advocate Name Mr.Rajendra & Mr.Amit Chaudhary, your tikona bill payment of Rs.2800/- is pending. Tikona had filed charge sheet of sec 420, 437, 448 on you. We will settle the case if you pay the above amount by 4 PM. Otherwise you need to pay 1 lakh once the case is registered. They called me twice, for information and again for the payment.
    I had now filled complaint against Tikona in consumer forum.
    This is a malpractice which they are doing, extortion.

    even i got call from this girl,8267927937, threatning ,,guys dont worry , they are thieves,not from any service provider….they have done a big mistake by calling me they dont know what i can do……

    its a very fake company , i have discoonected the connection nearly 2 year back i am getting recovery calls from these numbers like 8769665502 i was getting these calls 5 omths back also and at that time i also told the manager operation via mail and phone that i am not using ur service inspite of that bills are sent there is no tikona connecction in our building also what hell is happening company is sharing details of customers the tikona person came and he took all the devices also , the company needs to look into this

    I am in process of suing tikona for threatening call from the number 7792011392. have an itemized call details from my service provider and the recordings on my handset. They do not event know that the legally an advocate or a minister does not make any calls to the defendant.

    This company has given me a fraudulent bill for the month of March ’14. I have denied to pay this bill as I asked to disconnect the service in the month of Feb only.
    Now they are calling me from various number (+91-8107875573 & +91-7734038204) and are mentally harassing me. The person on phone says that he is some lawyer named Ranjan from Delhi Civil Court and he will order an arrest warrant against me and send local police person to catch me from my home, arrest me and take me to Delhi civil court for not paying this bill. Your neighbors will look at you and police will harass you and all. If I want to do outside settlement the I should pay the bill online immediately.

    Today a call came from another number 07792011395 and the caller claimed to be a Sub-Inspector from Delhi Police station, and he threatened me to pay the amount otherwise they’ll issue an arrest warrant against me and trace my number and all.

    My patience level has crossed now and i’ll report this to higher authorities now. I mean this is mental as well as social harassment and blackmailing.
    Please do something about this cheaters.

    The person over phone claimed to be a subinspector named Rajendra Chaudhary from Delhi Sadar Police Thana.

    @Moderators: WHY DONT YOU TAKE SOME ACTIONS AGAINST THIS COMPANY?
    THESE THREAT CALLS ARE RECEIVED BY EVERY EX-CUSTOMERS OF TIKONA (WHETHER THEY HAVE PAID THE FULL AMOUNT OR NOT) AND THESE KIND OF THREADS ARE WRITTEN ALL OVER INTERNET ON VARIOUS CONSUMER FORUM WEBSITES LIKE (GRAHAKSURAKSHA.COM, CONSUMERCOURT, TRAI, PGPORTAL.GOV.IN AND MANY MORE). ONE OR TWO INSTANCES CAN BE UNDERSTOOD THAT THE CUSTOMERS HAD DEFAULTED ON PAYMENT, BUT ALL THE CUSTOMERS REPORTING SAME THING MEANS THAT THERE IS SOME NUISANCE GOING ON FROM TIKONA SIDE.

    THESE TYPE OF THREAT CALLS NOT ONLY HAS A MENTAL IMPACT BUT ALSO IMPACTS OUR WORK AT BUSINESS AND LIFE AT HOME.
