I Sanjeev Kumar having an saving account in ORIENTAL BANK OF COMMERCE at Branch EC Bhim Rao Ambedker College, Wazirabad Road, Delhi
On 16th June 2012 Saturday, at around 07:00 AM, I used my ORIENTAL BANK OF COMMERCE ATM CUM DEBIT card to withdraw Rs.5,000/- at INDUSIND BANK ATM at , LSC, C-BLOCK, DDA MARKET, NEW FRIENDS COLONY, NEAR GURUDWARA, NEW DELHI-110025.
I inserted my debit card in the ATM machine and wanted to withdraw Rs 5000. The machine displayed that your Transaction is under process. I wait for around ½ hour but I didn’t received money, the machine showing the same line and my ATM card stucked inside the ATM machine. Neither I received Rs.5000 and nor my ATM card. Not even the ATM machine generated any transaction slip. The guard said that the machine will automatically throw your card. But after waiting 30 to 40 minutes, the ATM machine not responded and the ATM machine got hanged. Then I left from there.
I called the toll free no. 18001801235 to check the balance then they told me that Rs 5000 has been deducted from my account. Then I blocked my ATM card to avoid misuse of my card.
On Date 19th June 2012, I filled the chargeback form in the home branch and they told me that the money will be refunded in my account within 10 days. But it has been more than 18 days, my money still not refunded by the bank.
In this regard, I made an online complaint through OBC website on 2 July 2012 with reference no. WS3521/2012-13.
On 7th July, 2012 I visited my home branch EC Bhim Rao Ambedker college, and asked about my complaint status, the branch manager said that the other bank has rejected and closed my application.
Kindly look in to the issue and see that my account is credited back with the required amount Rs.5000 at the earliest.
