cANCELLATION OF CONFIRMED ORDER BY FLIPKART

Placed the order on Flipkart ( Order ID : OD30726063428) for Dell Inspiron 5521 Touch Screen Laptop on 26th July 13 with offer of 10% cashback. The order was accepted and payment transfer was also successful.
I was told that delivery date is 5th Aug 13. From 26th Jul 13 to 5th Aug 13 I was tracking my order through Flipkart Portal. It was showing status as “Order accepted “and delivery date “5th Aug 2013”. Also same item was showing in stock up to 5th Aug 13.
I was continuously following the delivery through their customer care phone line and I was told by there Customer care person that delivery will happen as promised up to 3rd Aug 13. On 5th Aug 13, I was told that delivery date is now shifted to 6th Aug 13 when I called them.
But on 6th Aug 13 , to my surprise, I received the mail informing me that Flipkart is pleased to process the refund for this order. I was surprised. I never asked for cancellation of order.
Now I am asking to deliver product in 10 days or at least compensate for the loss of cashback offer
I purchased this item under 10%cashback offer. Now this offer no longer available.

I requested Flipkart to make this item available in next 10 days rather than cancelling the order. Otherwise compensate for at least 10% cashback which I would have got. However Flipkart is only offering sorry.

First in place I do not understand that the product which was in stock for almost 8 days since I placed the order, how suddenly it can go out of stock. Also had it been informed immediately after booking, I would have booked some other laptop. Dell was offering Rs. 1500 rebate that time. Now why I should be penalized for the all shortcomings/delays on part of Flipkart.

I am not a resident of Chennai. As the delivery was not possible at my place of residence which is 300 kms away from Chennai, I gave my relative address. As the “Track order“ page was showing 5th Aug 2013 as delivery date I sent a person to Chennai to receive the delivery. But it was not delivered on the promised date.
