The company had fraudulently made me provide the detail of my sbi credit card and made the Transaction of Rs.7,999.00 made on SBI Credit Card XX2807 at C Group Technologies on 14 Nov 13 . for the discount card medical card and holiday package which are of no use to me in Mumbai.

On 23.5.2014 same happened with me they give me some discount and holiday packages but they forced to make transaction from credit card. Pls help me how to take money back??? They are telling that if you don’t like the card which they are providing then you just call in on moneymagic holiday customer care and tell to cancel the card. Pls tell me how to get money back ???? -

Dont believe their words. Initially the told me the same that you can cancel it anytime. When i called them to cancel it once i received the kit, they are saying there is no cancellation policy. So you cant cancel it. If i force them, they said you need to wait for 3 months to get the refund. They are just dragging it by telling convincing answer but they actually they are trying to make us fool 🙁 -

Today, I too have been a victim of this fraud. I managed to reach their customer care number. All they say is that there is benefit of 80K and are not willing to listen and not refunding me even though the transaction happened today. All they need to do is reverse the charge. and that they don’t have a cancellation policy. Did anyone dispute their credit card claim? Fraudulent claims on your card can be disputed.

Lot lot of thanks to him and consumerforum)Only thing is you should keep on asking, I have made n number of calls to them. I lost my money on 10th June 2014, Got on 4th July 2014.

I have been a victim of this C GROUP TECHNOLOGIES. They have taken 10000.00 from my credit card n 16-Jun-14 and till date I have not received any courier with what they promised to send some cards etc. I was checking online and sad to know that we all have been fooled. I called the customer care numbers provided on money magic website and that person was very rude and declined to refund my money. Can someone please help me to get my refund and it would be great if we can initiate legal actions against this group to stop this cheating.

I’m Arun from Chennai . I’m writing on this forum about the Company named C GROUP TECHNOLOGIES , with website http://www.moneymagicholiday.com/Website/contactus.aspx.
This company is a running scam on the HDFC bank Credit Card users. Primarily they have all the data from HDFC bank about the users who has newly received Credit Cards from HDFC bank. There scam works like this………..
They will call the HDFC bank Credit Card users and offer them a deal of Life time discounts on certain products. They don’t specify any Brand or company we can avail this offer. No matter how busy you are they will keep calling and piss you off till you accept there offer and then the real game play starts. They will take all your credit card details and make you accept to pay them any amount i think. As i was cheated by them for 8000/- rs, for availing their discounts offer. i realized that they are cheaters only after i waited for an email acknowledgement for my payment from them. Later i searched online about this company , to my surprise i was astonished to see may people sufferings caused by this so called C Group Technoclogies. I request all the HDFC Credit Card users not to get fooled by such calls.
I have registered complaint to The Commissioner Of Police at Vepery, Chennai.
I have however got hold of some phone numbers to reach them with the help of online forums. Now when i call them they are telling that they will refund , but i have more faith in Police to get my money back from them. This numbers are of Mumbai.Please try to circulate this issue to as many friends as you can as it may help everyone who is known to you who is using HDFC Credit card.
The worst part is when i called HDFC Bank , they said that they are not having any tie up with this company as are not responsible for any refund. I want to know, i have applied for Credit card with HDFC Bank they how can this kind of fraudulent companies know my phone numbers and my Credit Card issuing details. Banks are not keeping our details confidential.

Please mail to this fraud company keeping in CC to your local cyber crime branch mail id and new delhi cyber crime branch (as this is a New Delhi based company).
I did the same and they promptly cancelled the transaction and got my money back within 2 days.This is a fraud company and is afraid of police investigation.
That’s why they hurriedly sent me back my money.

I have a different view of the same.The package has been delivered on time and very well packaged.
So, i think it is not always correct to think wrong about people.Yes, one thing i will play safe is- not use the discount card but out of the 7990 spent the package sent (with wallet+ 2 sunglasses+ dual analog watch ) will at least cost 3.5k to 4k.
Next thing is to spend another 800 rupees for travel to some near by tourist spot listed in their booklet received and enjoy a domestic 2 day trip to reap the harvest of another 4k spent. Sums it up to 8K spend on your credit card.
Life- never repent..if it is good..it is great..if it is bad..it’s a learning. -

I had also got call from the C Group Company, and applied Rs.7990/-, after i got the kit i told them to cancel program, but they didn’t so I took the follow-up to HDFC Credit Card, and they have settled this transaction and it will revert.
So my suggestion is take the follow-up with your respective Credit Card Bank and they are going to resolved it.

I am also victim of this fraud company, They called from +919212118086 told me that they are calling from master card department and told my name and card first and last details and explained about discount card. So i thought it is a creditcard. Any how they convinced and deducted money Rs.7990/- for the card. I got the kit from courier after 4 days. I read all the document enclosed in the courier. That is not yet all useful for me. So i called them many times for cancellation. Nobody is giving proper response. After some days all the numbers which i got from them are switched off. plz suggest

I too got trapped in September 2014, paid 7990/- by citibank credit card. I got the welcome kit, when I sent the coupon for free gifts no reply at all. Now I am not able to contact them also, their customer care no 011-30803939 is never attended. I can be reached over 8880315110. Let us take it further and try for the compensation.
