Bill overcharging

Dear Sir,
I have taken the family plan pospaid connection of Airtel. In this plan, I was told that the primary number known as parent number will be charged the for the standard or primary plan amount whereas the other name known as child number will be charged aflat rate of INR 299, irrespective of parent number plan and also will be provided with all the benefits of the primary number plan.

Therefore, I took the primary plan of INR 649 per month wherein, I am to get unlimited call all over India no STD or roaming charges will be applicable. Further, I had added 2 secondaru number as child number for this plan after getting it cleared from Airtel exective that the benefits and plan for primary number will be applicable for secondary number as well.

Now, in Aug17 and Sep17 bills, I have been charged for the roaming on both my secondary number. On this, when I have complained on the Airtel vustomer care number, I was been told on all the insatance that there have been a mistake happened while preparing your bill. However, as the waiver amount is huge, we will have to raise the request to get the overcharging waived through our seniors.

Further, till date I have not received any follow-up calls from Airtel regarding the billing issue. So, I have written a mail to them to which they have replied to me that all the charges are genuine and therefore, I will have to bear all the charges. Also stating that the unlimited STD and roaming calls will only apply to primary number nor to secondary numbers.

Now, my point is that if the company have different plans for primary and secondary numbers than how both the numbers can be clubbed under one plan ie family plan. Further, the companies do so many marketing calls to customers to sell there new products, here it was not there duty to warn the customer about the STD or roaming calls which will be charged to them.

Now, my all the 3 number have been diconnected by Airtel. I want you to please look at the matter urgently.

Regards, Girdgari Lal Thard
