Amazon.in Cheating the customer with wrong info and Doesn’t provide the Gift card offered with the product!!!

I would like to raise my voice here as i have been unheard by Amazon.in Customer executives as well as their Leads. They kept my on hold for hours and Cuts the call without the resolution.

Consumer forum please help me get my 2000 Rs Amazon gift card which i was offered for my purchase of HP 15-R033TX 15.6-inch Laptop (Core i3 4005U/4GB/500GB/DOS/Nvidia GeForce GT 820M 2GB DDR3 Graphics/with Laptop Bag), Black on 3rd of May, 2015 from amazon.in.

Their website stated the product on 3rd May, 2015 along with the Rs. 2000 Amazon Gift Card.

But when i reached them now they say the offer was published on 4th May till 12th May Where as i have seen this offer on the website on 3rd May and booked the laptop to get this offer. but they don’t understand customer words. They are talking to me with their system info. Their systems might be wrong or corrupted but human mind is never wrong. I have seen the offer page with my own eyes.
it clearly stated that “Rs. 2000 Amazon Gift Card: Will be given post 30 days of purchase. (under Exciting Offers on Laptop)”

I have also confirmed the same with Amazon.in customer executive on the same day please check below mails which we receive after the voice call is completed.

Now after this confirmation about the product and offer of Rs 2000 Amazon gift card with the above executives, i have proceed further for the purchase.

The product was deliver on time and now when i reach them for the Amazon gift card they say me that the offer was from 4th not on 3rd speaking to their senior team leader also doen’t resolve my issue.

i explained them that i saw the offer on the website on 3rd because of which i have proceed to purchase the laptop but they don’t agree and keep harassing me without the proper solution i had a talk with their lead for more than an hour but my issue wasn’t resolve.

I seriously raise my concerns to Consumer Forums to Trace and resolve my issue on priority and Give Amazon.in a Warning for the Wrong Info shared on their website and not fulfilling the customer.

I don’t have the screen shot of the offer which i have seen on Amazon.in website on 3rd May, But i have many different Forums, Portals where this was published.

    This product is absolutely fake, please get it returned. All the may belline products are made in USA but this one says made in china. Also the bar code mentioned on the product is not pulling up any information. I also see lots on discrepancies in the packing. The item has not been opened yet. I know it’s not Amazon’s fault but the seller’s. I got it to gift it to someone but for some reason I did a little research and figured out it’s not a genuine product.

    I belong to Upper Middle class Indian family and wanted to buy new phone and plan was made almost 1 year back and budget planning was going on starting from last diwali. Whole family was planning for big occasion to buy the phone this year and Navarati was best season to buy this.
    I shortlisted OnePlus3 mobile worth 27999/-

    I was sure this diwali there will some offer like 10-15% off using Credit card. (To ensure, I qualify this time, I applied and got credit cards of various Brands like Amex, Citibank, HDFC, ICICI, INDUSIND, RBL, HSBC, etc. to ensure that even if you tie up with any odd bank, I will be able to get the offer)

    On 19th Sept, I saw Advertisement at Amazon -> “SHOP & SAVE OFFER”
    Offers says that if you buy any item using Amazon Gift balance then you can get 10% cashback in the form of Amazon gift card.
    There was another line which was mentioned in the offer to explain to consumers -> If you shop for 500, you get 50 off and if you shop for 1000, you get 100 off.
    I was unsure if this is an example of explaining how the cashback will be calculated or this is sequence which continues like this.
    So to clarify, Me and my relative went to Amazon Chat for clarification:
    Conversation went like this:

    So now I had choice -> 1) Go for Shop and Save offer and get mobile at 10% cashback or 2) wait for Oct1-5 Shopping Carnival where I can get 15% off with upper capping
    I decided not to delay the decision and Based on commitment from Amazon executive Neha, I started arranging money from various sources.
    I bought Amazon Gift vouchers from Amazon and redeem my loyalty points of various Loyalty partners.
    After accumulating Amazon gift balance of INR 28k, I purchased ONEPLUS3 mobile on 25th Sept.
    I started making plan for the family. What will I further buy with 2800/- cashback for my family members during Diwali? Questions like this were going through my mind and wanted to check if I will get cashback before Diwali or after Diwali.

    So I again contacted Amazon chat executive. I was informed by Amazon team that Neha was fresher and she had no knowledge about offers and by mistake, she has given me wrong information. Maximum capping of cashback was 100/-. in this Shop & save offer So instead of 2800/- cashback, I will get cashback of just 100/-
    My dreams were shattered but I believed in Mr. Jeff’s team and gave assurance to myself that I am in safe hands. Even if mistake is done by Neha, other members can correct the situation and help me.

    I was wrong as I went from one chat session to another …..endless sessions.
    I decided to choose Call as option for Customer service……to get same response.

    Few of the silly question were asked by Service Leadership team when they didn’t have any answer to give ->
    a) Why did you approach to Neha when T&C was there on website?
    My answer -> Why Banks/ Hospitals/ Airports/ Public places have “May I help you section” even when all instructions are written on forms. I approached Amazon to ensure that I don’t do any mistake and I wanted to ensure that I follow the right process to get maximum benefit of the offer.

    b) There was no such offer. If it was then pls share proof
    My answer -> Thank god. I generated PDF file of offer page and was able to share it. I was surprised that How can they behave in unprofessional manner and even deny that there was no such offer.

    Last five days, I went through terrible pain and mental torture/ agony and all thanks to amazon service team for the same.
    They wrote to me that we accept that it is our (amazon’s) mistake and I’m (Customer is) not at a fault but we can’t bear the loss as this is not in our hands.
    Only Top management can help you.

    I was surprised that no executive met his/ her promise till date. Each executive used to commit 24 hrs or 48hrs to call me back to brief me the status. Let me tell you that all promises were fake and it seems that I was talking to BOTS who were reading computer generated standard remarks like We understand your pain; You need not worry as I’m looking into this case now and I assure you that you are in safe hands, …..

    I gave them two options for resolution:
    a) Pay cashback 2800 manually as in auto fashion, I will not get it now.
    or
    b) Take back the mobile and refund the money. (Actual payment mode was Gift card so money will come back to Amazon Gift balance but I want Amazon to cancel Gift cards and return my money to my credit card or my bank account as I don’t want my 28K to get locked with amazon for next one year)

    Both were turned down by Amazon.

    Do Amazon understand my pain? No they don’t understand.
    Can I trust them? Not at all.

    I want to request Mr. Jeff to show me power of “?”

    I read your article where it was mentioned that if Mr. Jeff sends this question mark symbol to his team. They resolve each and every matter within few mins. like Magic wand.

    Let me see if Mr. Jeff can wave his little magical wand by sending “?” to his team and may my wish come true to get my cashback!

    have placed the order of mobile phone , Xiaomi Redmi Note 3(Gold 32GB ) #X000LBS69X of Rs. 12079/- online through AMAZON on 25-Sep-2016 , Order #403-7086014-8105120 received the order but it was not upto expectations. When I open it later, I found the scratch on screen of mobile which I had ignored but on charging of battery ,overheating was observed and later on the scratch observed has gone wider and turn to crack on screen. I called the customer service and briefed the detail , and they have promised for replacement but unfortunately no one has come to collect the phone. After lots of follow up every time I had different experience. At last , I went to Xiaomi service center , sector 22C , Chandigarh as suggested by Amazon. But even the phone is warranty period , no replacement/Refund is entertained. As per your policy users who have received a defective or a damaged mobile phone fulfilled by Amazon will be eligible for a free replacement within a period of 10 days of purchase.Request you to Plz take necessary action.

    It is very much hard for me to write this complaint regarding the delivery of my booked consignment (Tracking # 955100244710) with same day delivery, i have amazon prime account and also paid the online advance payment but not received the order on time.

    I was received the call from Amazon Agent (Aditya + 917011143743) around 7.45 pm today and asked can i deliver the same courier tomorrow, but i refused and asked to deliver today.

    Now i have received a MSG from Amazon site, the same order was postponed due to agent is not able to contact me ( Agent passed the same fake information to amazon).

    I am trying to call on same agent number but he is continuously disconnecting my calls.

    THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS CONCERN AND NOT A PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR EXPECTING FROM AMAZON, NEED THE JUSTIFICATION AND URGENT ACTION ON THE

    DELIVERY PERSON FOR THIS UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR WITH COSTUMER.

    WILL WAIT FOR POSITIVE RESPONSE.
